Thief VR: Legacy of Shadow

As Lead Artist at Maze Theory, I led the visual development of the critically acclaimed Thief VR: Legacy of Shadow, delivering large-scale, multi-platform VR environments under extremely tight deadlines for Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest 3, Pico 4, PlayStation VR2, and SteamVR.

Built in Unity using the Universal Render Pipeline, I planned, managed, and coordinated the team’s work, delivering on strict milestones and checkpoint deadlines. I drove lighting and art direction, while also contributing hands-on to environments, props, set dressing, manual occlusion systems, and profiling/optimisation to maintain performance and visual fidelity across all VR hardware.

I guided the team’s blockouts and concept development from a lead position and collaborated closely with design, tech art, and concept teams to define the creative vision, establish pipelines, and deliver a consistent, immersive experience true to the Thief universe.
